  7.            ReqChange is  a  program that makes the system use ReqTools
  8.         (©  Nico François) for requesters. The ReqTools requesters are
  9.         much  nicer to use, and that is why I've written this program.
  10.         The  icon's  Tooltypes  contains  all possible arguments (with
  11.         some  of them commented out, by enclosing them in parenteses),
  12.         set  to  the  default  values. ReqChange works on both OS 2.04
  13.         and OS 1.2/1.3.  
  14.  
  15.            The Install  icon will install reqtools.library, ReqChange,
  16.         ReqAsk  and GetFile if you want. ReqAsk and GetFile is used to
  17.         interact  with  the user. Since GetFile and ReqAsk requires OS
  18.         2.04  to run, these programs will not be used nor installed if
  19.         you run the script under OS 1.2/1.3.

  21.            The Demo  icon  will  start  a little script that tests the
  22.         ReqAsk  and GetFile programs. It also serves as a good example
  23.         on  how these two programs work (the Install script is another
  24.         example).  It  can  also  be used as a test to see the changes
  25.         that ReqChange does.

  27.            The two  requester  programs (ReqAsk and GetFile) is placed
  28.         in  the  public  domain.  They currently only operate under OS
  29.         2.04.  Do  whatever you want with them. ReqChange on the other
  30.         hand is © Copyright 1992 Magnus Holmgren.

  32.            Extra/GetEnv.Rexx is  an  example  script  on how to obtain
  33.         the  contents  of  a global environment varible. This way it's
  34.         possible  to  use  GetFile and ReqAsk from ARexx (you must use
  35.         the  GLOBAL flag with ReqAsk and GetFile for this).  Note that
  36.         the  example script should be called as a function, e.g.: "say
  37.         getenv( kickstart )".

  39.            In the  drawer  named  Extra  you can find GetEnv.Rexx, the
  40.         source  and  documentation  for GetFile and ReqAsk, as well as
  41.         error  free  linker  libraries  to  access  ReqTools from DICE
  42.         (LibSrc.Lha).
